Bristol City have placed a £25 million price tag on their England under-20 midfielder Alex Scott.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to Leeds United in the Premier League.

Per Daily Telegraph, Bristol are loath to lose Scott unless they are properly compensated.

The teenager has been interesting several top flight teams, including Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Wolves, Everton and Leicester City.

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch is an admirer, but a deal will not come easily.

John Percy of The Telegraph tweeted: "Wolves have been in talks with Bristol City over a deal for England under-20 midfielder Alex Scott. As it stands, looking unlikely due to a £25m price tag.

"Wolves are very keen to sign Scott this month but will move on unless current asking price drops."
