Wolves hat-trick hero Diogo Jota can understand manager Nuno being sent off during victory over Leicester City.

Jota's stoppage-time winner, thanks to unselfish play by ­Raul ­Jimenez, sparked wild scenes at Molineux which included boss Nuno running on to the pitch to congratulate him.

Jota smiled: “I was down on the pitch ­celebrating and I heard ­something and I thought, 'who is this guy?' Then I saw him get up and run away.

“In games like this everyone goes crazy. It is hard to control your feelings. When you score the winning goal in the last minute, even the boss couldn't control his emotions."

Nuno was sent to the stands for his celebrations.
