Wolves boss Mick McCarthy insists the work in strengthening his team is far from over, despite the signings of Reading striker Kevin Doyle, Sunderland defender Greg Halford and midfielders Nenad Milijas and Andrew Surman. "It is difficult to bring in players because we might be competing with as many as 10 or 12 clubs when it comes to it,'" McCarthy explained to the Birmingham Mail.
"And then there are perhaps eight clubs in a completely different ball game altogether.
"It does make it difficult and the more options that people have got makes it more expensive as well.
"But we've just come up and I've no complaints."
