Wolves to hand Doyle improved contract

Wolves are set to hand striker Kevin Doyle a new contract.

The Sunday Mirror says Doyle is poised to sign a new long-term contract at Molineux.

Doyle has two years left on his current deal but Wolves hope to agree a new contract with him in the next week.

The Republic of Ireland international originally signed a four-year deal when he arrived in a then-club-record £6.5m transfer from Reading in 2009.
