Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio happy to be back in Europe

Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio is delighted to be back in Europe.

Wolves have been paired against either Armenian side Pyunik, or Czech outfit Jablonec, should the Midlands club progress past Crusaders in the Europa League second round.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men face a two-legged test against the Northern Irish side first, with Wolves due to host the first leg at Molineux on Thursday. The return leg will then be played on August 1.

Patricio said, "We have experience in European competitions, which is important. We also have the qualifying for the Europa League to do, so having experience always helps.

“The most important thing for all of us is to be focused on the things we have to do."

He added, “It will be hard, as every Premier League season is, they are always very well fought. I believe it's going to be one more excellent season from all of us and we want to give much joy to our supporters.

“It was a good year (for me), but I know that I can do more and be better. So, I must keep working and evolving every day. That's the most important thing."
