Wolves goalkeeper John Ruddy dismisses retirement talk

Wolves goalkeeper John Ruddy is not thinking about retirement.

The 34-year-old will be a free agent of the end of the 2021/22 season.

"I've got a year left at Wolves so come next year we will see what the options are," Ruddy said. "Hopefully I can get back somewhere I can start playing again.

"I've still got goals and aspirations in my career. I'm certainly not wanting to retire any time soon to start my coaching badges.

"Before I do retire I'd like to have the qualifications in place so that's something I can go into as and when I'd like to. You never know what's round the corner."
