Wolves goal scorer Ebanks-Blake: I am still here

Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was delighted with his goal in their 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

It was the forward's first Premiership goal from open play.

Ebanks-Blake, who scored against QPR last April to seal promotion, admitted: "I was unfortunate to get injured. I had built up a bit of momentum in the last few years but this season it hasn't happened and it's been difficult.

"I know some people will be wondering what happened to me but football is like that.

"We have changed the system and I've not played as much but the boys have been brilliant.

"You just have to stay upbeat. I'm very fortunate to be a Premier League player and I'm part of a squad that's staying up.

"We have grown together as the season has gone on and believed we could play at this level. Teams turn up here and know they're going to be in for a hard game."
