Wolves fullback Jonny: Man Utd will be different from FA Cup

Wolves fullback Jonny says they expect a different Manchester United this week to the one they knocked out of the FA Cup.

Wolves progressed to Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Watford at Wembley after a 2-1 victory over United just 16 days ago but focus for Jonny and his fellow players will be firmly on the Red Devils' return to Molineux in the Premier League tomorrow evening.

He said, “We know that it will be different, since every game is different. But we do know that we can win again.

“Especially at home in front of our own support, we feel comfortable and motivated by them and I think that's the most important thing; being all together. These games at home are what have allowed us to be where we are in the league and the cup.

“Solskjaer's had a great season since taking over, and becoming permanent manager is deserved. With the way they've improved since his arrival, it's deserved and a great bit of news for Manchester United."

Jonny added: “Winning is always important, whether it's against United or whoever else. The important thing is to win and advance in the competition. It's very important for us, as is to do it in front of our people.

“Ultimately, beating Manchester United gave us a bit more morale for the rest of the season to keep pushing on, because I think we're doing very well to finish what's been a great season."
