Wolves, Everton rival Newcastle for Rondon

Newcastle United will face competition to sign permanently on-loan West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.

The Express & Star says Albion's play-off exit meaning his £16.5m release clause will remain in place this summer.

The Venezuelan striker has been a hit at Newcastle United on-loan this season, with a permanent move to St James' Park reportedly wanted by Rafa Benitez and the player.

Wolves, West Ham and Everton are also being credited with an interest in the 29-year-old.
