Wolves determined to keep Ruben Neves from Man Utd, Man City

Wolves are determined to keep hold of Ruben Neves.

The Birmingham Mail says Molineux chiefs are unlikely to be persuaded to let their star man go.

Manchester United, along with neighbouring rivals Manchester City, are thought to have been keeping close tabs on the Portuguese midfielder.

Both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are known admirers of the defensive midfielder, and consider him a potential replacement for respective long-serving players who have departed the Manchester clubs.

United this summer parted with Michael Carrick after 12 years at the club, while City said goodbye to Yaya Toure - the Ivorian leaving after his eighth season at the Etihad.
