Wolves defender Ruben Vinagre says Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes deserves the praise coming his way from the English press.

Vinagre spent part of his youth career at Sporting CP before joining Monaco and later Wolves in 2018.

The defender believes Fernandes deserves all the praise he is currently receiving in the media.

"Yes, yes," he told Record when asked whether his countryman is worthy of the compliments coming his way.

"There is an unanimity around Bruno Fernandes.

"I think the press and the fans are fascinated with what he has demonstrated and rightly so. Bruno arrived in England, saw and won."
