Wolves defender Oskar Buur has recalled how he was dumped as a teenager by AGF.

Buur has since made his debut for Wolves in the FA Cup and Europa League, but was axed by AGF just three years ago.

Making it particularly upsetting for the Dane was that he learned of the release via local press.

He recalled to Tipsbladet: "I could have accepted... But I only found out when I read it online.

"I think it was "Stiften" (Aarhus Stiftstidende) who made the point that they chose not to extend with me.

"Then I showed up at the club and was told, so I had not received a clear message. But you learn to expect this yourself in the football world."
