Wolves defender Cameron John calm amid Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough interest

Wolves defender Cameron John is staying tightlipped on his future as he impresses on-loan with Doncaster Rovers.

The Express & Star says John, 20, has been linked with a switch to Championship side Middlesbrough and Wolves' Premier League rivals Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

The defender is under contract at Wolves until the summer of 2020 with the club having an option to extend that a further year.

But John is just focused on his season long loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium.

He said: “I don't take any notice (of rumours).

“Personally, that's nothing for me to get involved with.

“I'm just here to play football at the end of the day so I can't be worrying about outside noise.

“I've just got to focus on my performances on the pitch.

“I've heard about it, people have told me, and it's nice to hear.

“But in the present I'm here to play games, to play football and hopefully I just keep performing well.

“Whatever happens in January or in the summer, that's what happens.

“But I'm here for the season so I'm just looking forward to that and hopefully just doing well here."
