Wolves are confident Chelsea's shock transfer ban won't see Michael Mancienne recalled from his loan at Molineux.
Jez Moxey, the Wolves supremo, said: "Obviously, player contract stability is of paramount importance to everyone in the Premier League and the last thing we want is to see Michael leave.
"We have got Michael here and we'd like to keep him for the season. No one should get too excited about this situation, because Chelsea are appealing and Michael is here to play football. We do not necessarily see this as affecting Michael's position."
