Wolves chairman Jeff Shi has lifted the lid on the club's relationship with super agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes has managed to place several of his clients at Wolves, which will qualify for the Europa League if Watford are beaten by Manchester City in Saturday's FA Cup final.
Shi told CNBC: "We knew Jorge four or five years ago but to Wolves he is more like a teacher sometimes because he is the centre of the whole industry.
"Sometimes like a student in there you have to learn something quickly from the best in this industry. So he can tell us a lot about what's the best experience in a very good club and what the good players like and what they're thinking and what they need to do to help the coach. So that's very important.
"And I've seen during the past three seasons he's helped a lot. Not only with our players, I think the most important is about ideas and sometimes about whether judgment is right or wrong it's very helpful to us."
