Wolves captain Conor Coady says the past week was one of the best of his career.

The men in old gold won three matches in nine days going into the international break, including eye-catching victories at Besiktas and Manchester City.

Coady told the club's website: “We won't forget it. It was an amazing week for this football club, we beat Watford, went to Besiktas and put the effort in with such a small squad, and then went to the home of the champions and put in a brilliant performance.

“It was massive for us because a lot of people spoke, saying how we started slow, but we were learning. A lot of players haven't played in the Europa League before, we've had an awful lot of games, and the most important thing was we were listening to the manager after every game and learning. We've got a break, which we need, but we'll move on as soon as possible."
