Wolves boss Nuno felt they set their standard for victory at Bournemouth.
Wolves led through Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez, and would face the second-half with an extra man after Simon Francis' dismissal. However, the Cherries made life difficult for their visitors and a tough second period ensured Nuno's feet remain firmly on the ground.
Nuno said, “First-half I think we were better. We played really good in the first-half, created a lot of problems to a very good team, they changed a little bit, but we knew how to adapt, we adjusted and played very well.
“I think we performed really good, it's a reference for us, the first-half was very good. We have to keep on going, we've had a lot of games already and we still have a tough challenge Thursday, then Sunday. What you did before is good, but only serves as a reference for the future.
“Bournemouth showed a lot of character, long balls, set pieces and you're on the edge until the end of the game. Eddie and his players are amazing, it's so difficult to play in the middle of the park."
