Wolves boss Nuno is pleased with their season as they wait for it to resume.

Nuno has reflected on the campaign with the Premier League in recess amid the coronavirus concern.

He said, “It's not always positive. We've faced all the situations, but what we can look back and see is that we always compete. We always prepare ourselves and compete well, but knowing that in football, as in life, there are ups and downs and you have to be ready for it.

“I think we are doing well. A lot of this is because of the way we prepare for each game, the way the players commit themselves.

“It's been a tight schedule, but it's been a challenge that we've embraced since the beginning and we are ok. We have always been able to compete and that is what is important, always being able to compete with spirit, the best way you can.

“We have good people, very good people, but all the credit goes to the players, because those are the ones who really run and have to compete. It's a big effort from the players and the way they've been able to do it all the way through all the competitions is remarkable."
