Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is pleased with the progress of defender Nelson Semedo.

The Portuguese has finally gotten to grips with the intensity of the Premier League, and is now putting in assured displays at right back.

He almost scored in the 1-0 win over Leeds last Friday, and Nuno is impressed with his countryman.

"Yes. He found himself (in good positions) and that requires better finishing," said Nuno to reporters, via the Express & Star.

"The Premier League is a tough competition. Every player that joins the Premier League feels the impact and demand of the competition.

"I always say that we play Champions League almost every week, because all the teams are so good.

"For Nelson, it's been a challenge for him. He's been committed and done well.

"He knows every game he's going to play, he's going to face a tough opponent which will demand better and more from him."
