Wolves boss Nuno insists Jimenez can make end of season playing return

Wolves boss Nuno says Raul Jimenez could play before the end of the season.

Nuno has confirmed striker Jimenez will see a specialist on 18 May to see if he has any chance of playing before the end of the season.

Jimenez has been missing since November, when he fractured his skull in a Premier League game at Arsenal.

The Mexican has been training, without playing a part in full sessions, and is yet to start heading the ball. Nuno feels Jimenez could play before the end of the season but it depends on the specialist advice.

“Raul is going to see a specialist on the 18th," he said. “From there we will know exactly what will happen.

“He is totally fit but he is still taking precautions. The 18th is an important day to move forward and make the right decisions."
