Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has spoken of his admiration for his goalkeeper John Ruddy.
There is no doubt that Ruddy has faced difficulty this season, losing his spot to Rui Patricio from the start of the season.
But he has kept his head down and performed when called on - such as the FA Cup third round clash against Liverpool that Wolves won 2-1.
And his manager is appreciative.
"It's very tough to be in the situation that John is," said Nuno to reporters after the game.
"To be there, every day, in the high standards – the way he is in training – is amazing.
"For John, it was a special moment to come back to Molineux.
"What he made last season will stay in our memories forever. John is fantastic, and we are very proud of him. We are pleased and happy."
