Nuno insists having a Portuguese ref is not advantage for Wolves in their Europa League tie with Torino.
The Wolves boss, his coaching staff and seven members of the squad are from Portugal, prompting the Italian media to claim their connection could affect the result.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's first-leg in Turin, Nuno said: "There's no issue here, come on. Our native language here is English, everyone speaks English to each other.
"Before the game, we never speak about the referee, I think it's the best way for him to referee normally and not create any pressure.
"Normal game, good referee, good teams. Let's play."
