Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has delivered positive news on Michael Kightly's comeback.

McCarthy revealed: "He had an hour here in a friendly on Tuesday and it was lovely to see him involved - he's a terrific footballer, a really talented individual.

"Some of the things he did were great, but he's still not ready to play. His touch is coming back and he spots a pass - he's lovely to watch when he's playing like that.

"He's got every chance of playing in the reserve game at West Ham."
