Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has dismissed claims he should have sympathy for Liverpool counterpart Rafa Benitez.
The two clubs face eachother today at Anfield.
Asked if he had sympathy for Benitez, McCarthy was typically forthright, saying: "I can't remember receiving any sympathy from too many people.
"Sympathy is listed somewhere in the dictionary between s**t and syphilis. I don't give any out. All through my life I have never lived through a period when you would say Liverpool were vulnerable. Yes, it is a better opportunity than before maybe, but I never see them as being weak."
