Wolves remain keen on a loan return of Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne.

The Express & Star says the England under-21 international remains a target of boss Mick McCarthy and the club have been linked with a fresh approach.

But they haven't been able to take their interest further, because of the lack of a manager at Stamford Bridge.

That should become clearer when Carlo Ancelotti formally arrives to take charge of the club this week.
