Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admits he tried to sign Fulham striker Bobby Zamora last summer.
McCarthy made a cheeky enquiry about the ex-West Ham star last year and was told he was not for sale.
He said: "He's an accomplished Premier League player. I like him and asked about him last summer but Fulham weren't interested in selling him."
