Wolves boss Bruno Lage is backing Carlos Carvalhal for the Burnley job.
The Braga coach is being linked with the Clarets post after last week's dismissal of Sean Dyche.
Lage said, "I think he's at the best moment of his career, because of what he's done in these years at Braga.
"It's what Carlos can do for a club. He has a good team, went to three finals, and in two years he sold a lot of players and managed to rebuild the team with a lot of young players.
"I didn't know he was one of the names pointed out to Burnley. But if the club wants someone with vision to rebuild a team, of course he's a good name. For any team, not just for Burnley."
