Wolves fullback Ruben Vinagre is a step away from joining Sporting CP.

O Jogo says Sporting are finalising a deal with Wolves to take Vinagre on-loan for the new season. An announcement is expected this week.

There is already an agreement between Sporting and Wolves for the loan arrangement and all that remains is to settle the purchase option.

It will be a deal identical to what the Lions carried out with Manchester City in Pedro Porro's transfer.

Vinagre spent last season on-loan with Famalicao.
