Wolves aim to beat West Ham to Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson

Wolves have stepped up their bid for Olympique Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson.

Sanson is the subject of an offer from West Ham this week, but a move to Wolves could yet happen, says Le 10 Sport.

Key to Wolves' plans is super agent Jorge Mendes, who is close to the Premier League club.

Mendes takes care of new OM coach Andre Villas-Boas, but also represents Wolves and will push AVB to let Sanson leave this summer.

OM are said to be willing to sell for €30m.
