Wolves are leading the race for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.

The Express & Star says Wolves are favourites to sign WRondon this summer.

Rondon excelled on loan at Newcastle last season, scoring 12 goals and registering seven assists in all competitions.

Manager Rafa Benitez is desperate to make the move permanent but given his own contract at Newcastle runs out at the end of this month, no progress has been made on any deal as that uncertainty persists.

And now it is believed Wolves have stolen a march in a race to sign the 29-year-old.
