Emiles Heskey celebrated his first league start for almost half a year by netting a late winner for Aston Villa on Sunday to give new boss Gerard Houllier his first win for the club
The former England international scored in the 88th minute to give his side all three points against Wolves at the Molineux with the home side experiencing some misfortune in taking nothing from the game.
Stewart Downing put Villa ahead in the 25th minute when he deflected a Marc Albrighton cross past Wolves keeper Marcus Hahnemann but Mick McCarthy's men levelled through Matthew Jarvis who floated a ball into the area which deceived Villa gloveman Brad Friedel in the 61st minute.
Heskey was then called on to head home a Stephen Warnock cross to give Villa maximum points and keep their 17-match unbeaten streak against the Wolves intact.
