Wolfsburg coach Steve McClaren is chasing Manchester City attacker Craig Bellamy.

The Sunday Express says McClaren is hoping to persuade Manchester City striker Bellamy to kick-start his faltering career in Germany.

Bellamy is the player McClaren wants to replace Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko, who ironically is one of the big-name stars being eyed by City as well as AC Milan and Real Madrid.

The £30million-rated Dzeko could join City in a player-plus-cash deal.
