Wolfsburg have turned down an offer from RB Leipzig to sign Maxence Lacroix.
Sky Germany reports that Wolfsburg are seeking €30 million for the 21-year-old, but Leipzig only offered €20 million.
The two clubs are some way apart in their valuation, while there is also the factor of Borussia Dortmund's interest in the defender.
However, Wolfsburg are confident they can keep Lacroix for at least another season.
"I assume that he will continue to play for us," said Marcel Schäfer, the club's sporting director, in an interview with Kicker.
