Wolfsburg management are delighted with their deal for Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha.
VfL have taken Nmecha on a season-long loan with the option to buy him outright for €1m.
"Lukas is a young and hungry player who fits in perfectly with our game and club philosophy," said Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer.
And VfL coach Oliver Glasner added: "Lukas fulfills the profile we were looking for. He brings robustness, has development potential."
Nmecha has high hopes for himself at Wolfsburg.
"It has been my goal in the Bundesliga for quite some time to be able to play in my native country. I am all the more pleased that a move to VfL Wolfsburg has now worked out, because I have the best prerequisites for developing at the highest level and fully exploiting my potential."
