Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels is being watched by Arsenal.

The Gunners are looking to strengthen their options in goal and the Belgian has been watched by head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, says The Sun.

Mislintat is well aware of Casteels from his time working in Germany and he feels the 25-year-old would be a valuable addition to the Arsenal squad to compete with Petr Cech and David Ospina.

There is a growing sense that Arsenal must address their long term goalkeeper situation with Cech's powers diminishing.

There are questions over Ospina's ability to replace Cech as the Arsenal number one, making the addition of Casteels to the roster of goalkeepers an appealing one.
