Aston Villa face Bundesliga competition for Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.

Currently on-loan at Villa, Cleverley's deal expires at the end of the season.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood has admitted he'd like to keep hold of the England international, while Everton are also keen.

Calciomercato.it says VfL Wolfsburg are monitoring developments and keen to tempt Cleverley to Germany over the summer.

Wolfsburg have been in active in the English transfer market this season, having landed Andre Schurrle and Kevin de Bruyne from Chelsea.
