Liverpool striker Divock Origi's spell at Wolfsburg has hit a downturn.
The Liverpool Echo says the 22-year-old's time in Germany has stalled, only managing one goal in his last 16 matches in all competitions - the latest of which being a nightmare against Hoffenheim.
Wolfsburg were soundly beaten 3-0 away from home on Saturday, leaving them cemented in relegation trouble and teetering just above the relegation play-off place.
Sporting director of the Bundesliga side Olaf Rebbe spoke after the match and revealed they will be speaking to the on-loan Liverpool man about his display.
"We'll discuss behind closed doors what the reason for [his performance] was," Rebbe said.
"This was not a good match from Divock, you need to make that clear. We need to analyse how those 42 minutes could happen. This was not what we agreed upon during the week."
