Alan Shearer insists that he is still enjoying being at the helm, despite taking just two points in his first four games at struggling Newcastle. The Magpies are currently three points adrift in the race for survival, leaving them at serious risk of losing their top-flight status for the first time in 16 years.
"Is it everything I thought it would be? Yes. Is it difficult? Yes," Shearer remarked.
"But it's probably no more difficult than I thought it would be. I was coming into it with my eyes open.
"But I am enjoying it - despite not winning."
