Dean Windass has backed Hull City's deal for ex-Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard.

"I'm obviously still keeping an eye on how Hull are doing and think they've made a great signing in Jimmy Bullard from Fulham" said Windass, currently on-loan at Oldham, on his itv.com blog.

"It shows the ambition there is at the club and if he can help them stay in the Premier League this season I'm sure others like Jimmy will want to come to the KC Stadium."
