Sunderland midfielder Billy Knott wants to extend his loan spell with League Two AFC Wimbledon. The 19-year-olds current stint at Kingsmeadow ends on March 10.
"We are trying to climb the table together and everyone is working hard for each other. I am really enjoying it and all the coaching staff are helping me so it has been great for me here.
"I want to play games before I go back to Sunderland. If I am doing well and the team are doing well and Sunderland are okay with it, then I don't see any reason why I cannot stay longer." "It is great to be involved with such a great group of lads," he told the Dons' website.
