Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson departed the club on Wednesday.
Wilson, who has been under fire among the Scottish club's fans, has left along with managing director Stewart Robertson.
Both professionals were given a lot of stick by fans this season, as a result of the club's poor transfer windows in recent years.
However, Wilson has already found a new job, per the Scottish Daily Mail.
He will be working with English Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest as their new chief football officer.
Forest themselves recently fired Filippo Giraldi, who did not impress with his work during the winter transfer window.
Wilson did have success at Rangers when Steven Gerrard was manager.
