Newcastle United attacker Callum Wilson has insisted Eddie Howe will not allow the team to get distracted by their great start to the season.
The Magpies boss has overseen a remarkable change in their form since taking over midway through last season.
When Howe took charge, Newcastle were in the relegation zone, but they are currently in the top four of the Premier League.
Asked about getting carried away, Wilson stated, per Chronicle Live: "It's down to how the manager set us up and the direction this season.
“We've kept our feet on the ground and now it's falling into place and we're getting results.
“We're on a good run and long may it continue. At the end of the season, we'll evaluate where we are in the league."
