Wilshere insists 'unfinished business' at West Ham: This won't be waste of time

Jack Wilshere says he has 'unfinished business' at West Ham United.

Injuries have been a blight on the former England international's career, both at Arsenal and the Hammers.

But the midfielder insists he is determined to prove himself at London Stadium.

"I still feel like I've got unfinished business at West Ham. It's not worked out how I wanted it to and I want to change that," said the 28-year-old.

"I don't want to, when I'm done at West Ham, I don't want West Ham fans to think: 'that was a waste of time.

"I want to show them what I can do and when you get your opportunity you have to take it and that is my opportunity and show the manager what I can do.

"Again, we've got a new manager who has not seen me play yet, not seen me on the training field and it's like a fresh start for me and I'm looking forward to it."
