Jack Wilshere has assured West Ham's new signings they're over the worst after defeat to Manchester City.
City thrashed the Irons 5-0 on Saturday in London.
“I was saying to the new lads it probably won't get harder for you than this first game," said Wilshere.
“Wherever they go they have a plan and stick to it. They have great players and trust each other in possession. Even if they're being marked they want to receive the ball.
“We had a plan. I thought we did all right in the first half – then they got the goal."
