William Bianda is delighted with his move to AS Roma.
The 18-year-old made the move from Lens for €6m plus up to €5m in performance-related bonuses.
“This is a big change for me and it's an honour to be here," said the defender in his presentation press conference.
“I realise there will be a lot of competition and I must learn from more experienced players, so that when the Coach calls on me, I am ready to deliver.
“I came to Roma because they had the best project for my career and my growth as a player. Now I am at a top club and I am not thinking about anything else.
“Eusebio Di Francesco works very well with young players and we had a good chat. He's very nice, we'll work hard this season."
