Wilkinson hopes Stoke boss Pulis sticks with him

Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson hopes to keep his place with Robert Huth due to return from suspension.

Wilkinson has put a strong case to stay in the team, but knows he faces strong competition from £6m Germany international Huth.

He told The Sentinel: "I'll leave that to the gaffer, but he knows what he is going to get from me. I'll give one million per cent for the club.

"Hopefully I can keep a run in the team, but Robert is a big signing so we will see.

"It's not easy coming back in the team after you have been out of it, but I don't think I could have done any more."
