Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder says the club can be proud hosting Liverpool today.

Facing Liverpool in the Premier League is another milestone in United's remarkable renaissance under Wilder and they were getting thumped at home by Southend in League One when he took over three years ago.

“I've had some dark days and a few years ago it would have seemed a million years away, us playing Liverpool in the Premier League at Bramall Lane," he said.

“The journey's been quick and rapid. Now we have to continue the journey, enjoy the occasion and do ourselves justice on and off the pitch."
