Wigan Athletic winger Charles N'Zogbia could decide his next move in the coming days.
The Sun says Villa boss Alex McLeish is stepping up his bid to sign Wigan's N'Zogbia.
The new Villa Park chief hopes to seal a deal for the £9million-rated winger, 25, in the next week after missing out at the 11th hour last year when he was with Birmingham.
Liverpool, Newcastle, Sunderland and Everton are also all interested. A pal of the player said: "The next few days are important. It's too early to say where he'll go."
