Wigan Athletic have an agreement with Manchester United over a loan deal for Tom Cleverley.
Cleverley has agreed a season-long deal at the DW Stadium after United boss Sir Alex Ferguson sanctioned a loan move for the England Under 21 international, says skysports.com.
The signing is a coup for Wigan manager Roberto Martinez as a number of clubs were chasing Cleverley, including the likes of Newcastle and Bolton.
