FC Twente fullback Ronnie Stam is interesting Wigan Athletic.
Sky Sports says Latics boss Roberto Martinez sees Stam as a potential replacement for Liverpool target Maynor Figueroa.
Wigan will have to see off competition from Ajax for Stam, with the Dutch giants eyeing the player as cover for Gregory van der Wiel.
Twente rate Stam at around £2 million.
